Description
Technology
Microtex upperThis road bike shoe has a Microtex upper. This material is both supple, strong and stable to ensure a comfortable and consistent fit. The Microtex upper contributes significantly to the precise, locked-in feel desired by competition cyclists.
R2 Carbon sole
The Fizik Vento Infinito Carbon 2 road racing shoe has a lightweight R2 Carbon sole. With a stiffness index rating of 10, it is the stiffest outsole in Fizik's range. As such, this road bike shoe guarantees optimal power transfer to the pedals. The sole has a wide ventilation opening and deep internal channeling to create a nice cooling effect for your feet. The cleats are positioned slightly further back to optimise pedalling efficiency and reduce knee compression. This is particularly suitable for aggressive, forward aerodynamic positions.
Two BOA dials for a perfect fit
For the Vento Infinito Carbon 2, Fizik has also selected two BOA dials (BOA Li2). The upper dial controls a strap that creates a precise fit for the instep. The lower BOA dial ensures an optimal fit at the forefoot. Here, the corresponding thread adapts to the shape of your foot. An excellent and fully personalised fit is the positive result.
The Fizik Vento Infinito Carbon 2 road bike shoe will help you achieve your best performances. With this racing shoe, you can follow in the footsteps of leading pro riders.
User tips
Detailed explanation of sizing in mmIn order to help you, as best we can, to choose the right size shoe we have measured all the shoes ourselves. All that's left for you to do is measure your own foot length, and we'll tell you which shoe size per brand suits you best. Does your foot length in mm not appear on the relevant product's page? Then that particular shoe is not available in a size that suits your foot length.
You can easily measure your foot length using an A4 sheet of paper, placed on the floor against a wall. Stand with one foot on the piece of paper, with your heel against the wall. Draw a line above your big toe (or above the index toe if that is longer). Now mark your other foot on the paper in the same way. Measure both - the measurement of your longest foot is your foot length in mm's! Please note: some manufacturers have their own measuring system, and as a result what appears on the shoebox can deviate from what we have measured.
What shoe size you need can differ per brand. This is because certain brands wear larger or smaller. To help you get the perfect fit, we've also classified the shoes as narrow, average, or wide fit. Read all about it in our blog!

These shoes come highly recommended!
I used to ride with RC500 Shimano shoes but during longer rides I started to get pain in the ball of my foot, nothing helped to get rid of it so after a lot of research I ended up with Fizik Vento Infinito shoes, ordered these at Mantel, delivered the next day, cleats mounted and adjusted => no more pain! these shoes are more than worth their money!

For me, the top shoes!
These shoes are expensive, but the fit and material used are perfect. Very suitable for the narrower foot.
